The Pediatric Advanced Life Support or PALS certification course is approved by the American Heart Association (AHA) and taught by experienced instructors.
The PALS course is recommended for professionals who expect to work around children in medical settings and required for those who expect to work with children and infants that require immediate medical attention. These professions include pediatric Registered Nurses, emergency department nurses, pediatric critical care staff, emergency medicine physicians, paramedics, pediatric respiratory therapists, pediatric dentists, and many more.
This course is not recommended for people in non-medical professions, as these skills require medications and equipment that are not available to the general public.
