The Zambales Electric Cooperative, Inc. (ZAMECO) was established in June 30, 1972 by the National Electrification Administration (NEA) under Presidential Decree No. 269. After Twelve (12) years of operation, the cooperative was divided into Two (2) Independent Institutions namely: Zambales I Electric Cooperative, Inc. (ZAMECO I) covering the areas of Botolan up to Santa Cruz: and Zambales II Electric Cooperative, Inc. (ZAMECO II) which covers its Franchise Areas from Subic all the way to Cabangan. In October 14, 1984, this cooperative was organized as one of the Two Electric Cooperatives in the Province of Zambales by virtue of Republic Act No. 6038 as mended by Presidential Decree No. 269.

Pursuant to the provisions of Presidential Decree 269 aimed at providing electricity to the rural areas, the PANGASINAN III ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE, INC. (now PANGASINAN III ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE) was organized as the third electric cooperative in the province of Pangasinan.  It serves the eastern part of the province with a land area approximately 1,158 square kilometers under its coverage area. It was formally registered with the National Electrification Administration (NEA), the agency specially created by the government by virtue of Republic Act 6038 to bring about the desired changes and reforms in the social, economic and political structure of our society and for the total electrification of the entire country, on 20 May 1978. PANELCO III started its operation on 01 June 1979.

Camarines Sur II Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CASURECO II) is a non-stock non-profit electric cooperative registered under Presidential Decree No. 269, as amended, with office address at Del Rosario, Naga City. CASURECO II has been granted a franchise or authority to distribute electric service in the municipalities of Bombon, Calabanga, Canaman, Magarao, Milaor, Minalabac, Pili, Tinambac, Siruma, and the City of Naga, all in the province of Camarines Sur.

CASURECO II is one of the four electric cooperatives engaged in power distribution in Camarines Sur. The National Electrification Administration (NEA) has recognized CASURECO II for achieving 100% energization of all municipalities, 100% of all barangays, 77% of all sitios and 87% of all potential households within its coverage area, which includes Naga City.

PELCO II was incorporated on April 23, 1979 at Bacolor, Pampanga. Its formal operations started on May 26, 1979 with initial 28,696 member-consumers from the six (6) districts. It expanded its operations as it took over the new coverage areas of Guagua Rural Electric Service (GRES) and the Lubao Municipal Electric System (LMES) in July 1980 and November 1981, respectively. This brought about the full service coverage of Guagua and Lubao. These made PELCO II comprised of the seven (7) municipalities of Pampanga.
